The Remus part numbering system allows you to understand the product. The first two digits represent the vehicle maker, the last two define the exhaust tip configuration as shown in the catalog and the website.

2. If Remus is so superior why haven’t we heard much about this product line in the North America?

Remus is the number one performance and racing exhaust brand in the world. An increase in the number of authorized retailers, and aggressive promotion in Canada in the form of magazine editorial, advertising, racing involvement and other areas that will allow Remus Innovation to be well known also in Canada.

3. What is the sound in decibels?

The sound varies from system to system of course. Each sound is custom tailed to the vehicle and the vehicle market. Overall though the decibel level is below legal requirements and therefore it is legal in all provinces in Canada.

4. Are Remus products street legal from an emissions standpoint?

Yes. The only products that Remus offers for off highway use only are exhaust manifolds (headers) for some select vehicles. The bulk of the products are catalytic converter and back units and there is no effect whatsoever in emissions function or legality.

5. What is the black finish on the Sport Exhaust Line?

It is a high heat and high endurance paint specially developed by Remus to protect the system components. The material under the coating is 100% stainless steel.

6. Titanium mufflers – what is inside?

The Titanium series is stainless steel inside. The tips are 100% titanium.

7. Explain the difference between Romulus, Racing Sound and Sport Exhaust…

» Romulus
• Sound – The sound of pure performance for up-market vehicles like Porsche, Ferrari ect.
• Construction – 100% electro polished stainless steel inside and out!
• Application – (guide exists on page already)

» Racing Line
• Sound – stronger than Romulus or Remus Sport Exhaust lines but “street friendly”
• Construction – stainless steel construction inside and out with choice of titanium or matte finished stainless exhaust tips. The titanium versions are “blued” at the end of the exhaust tips.
• Application – Ideal for vehicle applications where aggressive maximum sound is desired.

» Remus Sport Exhaust
• Sound – The industry benchmark for true sport exhaust sound. No other company has devoted more time to sport exhaust sound results. Deep, throaty and rich. That is the sound of Remus Sport Exhaust!
• Construction – stainless steel construction. Black endurance paint on exterior of muffler body.

8. The warranty – how long is it, what is covered, what isn’t covered, and how do I submit a warranty request

Remus Canada is pleased to announce that we have changed our warranty from 3 years to Limited Lifetime. Remus Canada will now provide a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original purchaser and original vehicle for Remus Canada Sportexhaust and Romulus exhaust components purchased after January 1, 2004. The complete warranty is attached.

This Limited Lifetime Warranty is applicable on all 100% Stainless Steel Remus and Romulus exhaust systems purchased after January 1, 2004. Please call our customer service department at 1-800-361-4095 with any questions regarding this new warranty!

9. Why don’t you sell Remus exhaust tips only ?

We do not want Remus exhaust tips installed on an inferior exhaust system, which will make it look like a Remus system but it won’t sound or perform like a Remus system
